When the signal light is in red and you are to make right turn, you can just stop before the white stop line and stay their as long as the signal is in red. And then turn right when the signal changes to green light.
Optionally, you may choose to make a right turn just after making a full stop when the signal is in red, then watch out for any oncoming traffic making their left turn toward the lane where you are heading.
Try not to make a wide turn.
